One-hour (approx) interactive participation show
The performance begins with a strikingly visual movement piece, progressing to a discovery of numerous musical instruments and then an exploration of the characters that these instruments represent. Children are picked one at a time to come up and 'try out' a character and instrument and participate in the exploration. They remain on stage until each character has been chosen. The final act is the telling of the story with the children on stage playing the characters. The story is told in rhyme by the storyteller. There are fourteen characters. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
